Overall, my experiences with the Lyft app have been good. I think they fixed the fact that drivers could see the name of your Favorites on their app. However there is another big issue. You cannot end a ride once it has started in the app, the driver is the only one who can. I had a situation where a driver dropped me off then continued to drive around and around the block without ending the ride. I presume to get more money, leaving me unable to use the app to get another ride back home.

Bait and switch. If the driver can find a longer way to get to the destination, the price changes from what was approved on the app. There have been times I've done the wait and ride( sometimes not to save i dont want to get there that early ). If there's an available driver, it's upgraded without rider approval. Then I arrived earlier than I wanted. You can't win with this service! I'm going to PUSH myself hard to ride BUS for the summer.

I used to drive for Lyft. If you get a driver that is customer driven and has high customer service skills, you are getting a 5 star driver. in two days, I've had a bad ride, as well as a good rides. The good rides really make a difference between staying with the company or going to the competitor. I compared the prices before I requested a ride and Lyft was very close + or - in price. The time for a driver to arrive at the pick up point was close as well. I went for the quick pick up.
